I’ve been working to get my website back up and running so that I could finally blog this session. So many gorgeous images! I’ve known this family for awhile and was happy to get them in front of the camera. They are picture perfect and it shows in their smiles and style. We met at Gibson Ranch, with dad driving to the location straight from an out of town business trip. Despite any exhaustion, dad and the rest of the family were such good sports. It really made the session an enjoyable one for me. Despite the changing cloud cover, we were able to catch some really beautiful light.

Brother was asleep in the car for the first part of the session, so we took photos of this darling girl in combination with her parents. She has an easy smile, as you can see. 🙂

Since it took awhile for her brother to wake up, my assistant (aka my husband) waited at the car with the two kids while mom and dad walked over to a nearby spot for some couple photos. I think it’s so important to remember the bond between mom and dad. It can get lost sometimes in the shuffle of caring for kids. Anyway, they were up for it and we got some beautiful images. I really love how the light and sky frame them here.

And when the he did wake up, we got some awesome family photos. The fact that they are photogenic really helps my cause. 😀

And, of course, we had to get some sibling shots. <3

I truly love these images we caught at the end of sunset. The sky was really working in our favor and the family had fun running around the field. These are my favorite kind of photos.
