I still remember the first time I met Jaimee. It was the first day in 9th grade P.E. class. We were sitting near each other on the shiny wooden bleachers and struck up a conversation about movies and Julia Roberts. Soon it became apparent that we both had a fondness for good pop films. Thus began a friendship that consisted of sleepovers, music, Burger King, boy talk, Shakespeare, softball with two players, and of course, late-night movie watching. And now she’s going to join me in parenthood as she prepares to welcome the little bun in her oven.

After the birth of my first child, Jaimee sent over a bouquet of flowers and, in my post-partum mess, I was so thankful for the gesture. It really lifted my spirits! Needless to say, I was happy to take these photos of Jaimee. I can’t wait to meet your baby and see you become a momma!
