This month’s challenge for the Circle of Light blog is night light. I have seen so many creative and technically brilliant night themed photos, that I was intimidated but excited. This picture is close to what I had in mind: an image of my daughter lit by a lantern’s candle. It was minimally edited, but I love the wonder and fascination on her face.
If I have some time I would love to do a full on night shoot with her. It would be awesome to play dress up, get outside in a field, use a lantern, headlights, whatever, to shoot with, and get some dreamy images. Remember “Where the Wild Things Are”? How the kids dance by the moonlight. Wouldn’t that be the coolest shoot? Hm…I’ll need to brainstorm a way to execute this idea. 🙂
