It seems like every month the goal at the top of my list is to post more of my work. Between the shooting, editing, emailing and managing the business side of photography, I have little energy left for social media and web posts. I’ll admit that I have trouble finding the right words for Instagram captions and lack the know-how on optimal hashtagging. However, what I really miss out on by letting this goal slip past me is sharing my work and the beautiful families I get to photograph. Now that 2019 is ending, I’m taking a little time to showcase some images from this past season. Despite my reticence on the web, I adore my job. I love photography, seeing my clients year after year, and creating loving memories and portraits.
While winter, spring, and summer seasons tend to fill my calendar with newborn and baby sessions, as well as school portraits, fall sends me outdoors for family sessions. These past few months I traveled around Sacramento, Carmichael, Davis, Elk Grove, and the East Bay Area. And though they may not be on my social media, here are some highlights from my 2019 sessions.
